It has been a long time since I wrote something. But as you might have known I was traveling California for the last two weeks [blog post about that trip is in process haha].
Today I want to share with you my favorite travel moments from 2014. 2014 was definetly an A M A Z I N G year. Maybe one of the best years in my life. I got to move to two different cities [Seoul & Barcelona] and travel to 9 countries. While being abroad so much I got to grow as a person and got to know me better.
My wanderlust keep’s on growing day by day and I just hope I’m lucky enough to travel as much as I did last year. So here you go, my favorite WOW moments of 2014:
1. Flying with a helicopter through Grand Canyon.
This was probably the best experience of my life. I have a terrible fear of flying but flying with a helicopter was amazing. And specially when you have the Grand Canyon beneath you.
2. Machu Picchu
It has always been a dream of mine to go to Machu Picchu. So when I finally climbed those 1000000 stairs and saw the view it was breathtaking. I felt like I was dreaming.
Everybody who knows me, knows that I’m a crazy sushi addict. So being able to eat fresh sushi at the fish market in Tokyo was a dream come true. I spend way too much money but that very fatty tuna was worth every cent.
If you love nature, this is the place to go. The view was just amazing and seeing the sun emerging through km of rainforest was pretty cool.
With this experience I learned a lot about buddhism and also Korean culture. It gave me an insight and I’m so grateful to have been able to do this.
This was my second time in Galapagos and I loved to come back. This time I even snorkeled with sharks, which was a very terrifying but at the end amazing experience.
The most beautiful sunsets I saw this year, without any doubt.
8. Valencia, Spain
I was really amazed by Valencia and specially about the Science Museum. It felt like being in the future.
I have a major crush on Neymar so you can imagine my excitement when seeing him play live.
Barcelona knows how to do fireworks. Seriously I saw the most amazing fireworks here.
It was an amazing year and I doubt that 2015 can beat this year but let’s see what happens 🙂
